A day trip to Sa Pedrera, Ibiza July 22nd 2015
Today we are going on an excursion to one of my favourite spots on the island. Although ordinary humans aren’t able to see them, it is full of magical creatures like me, because it is a unique place, not only in Ibiza, but throughout the world.
To reach Sa Pedrera or Atlantis, which is how it was renamed by the hippies, there are no signs nor indications, so you have to let yourself be guided by the energy of the place to get there. Or you can ask any farmer or local that has been there before, as humans usually do.

The way down is beautiful, as you pass next to high walls conquered by groups of strong, tough climbers, with stunning views of the sea and the unspoilt coastline. And if you keep going down you reach a sandy ravine you can cross walking, jumping, running or rolling, according to your personal intrepid whim.
Once there, the landscape changes and you find the old quarry, rock formations with geometric shapes result of excavations to extract the stone of the mountain. And to round it off, crystal clear natural pools are formed in contrast to the dark blue sea that surrounds everything.
Some call it beauty, some nature, others paradise, it is simply Atlantis. It is Ibiza and the treasures that this beautiful island saves for those who want to discover her beyond the parties, electronic music and beach bars.
