I left the agroturism in San Miguel with a smile on. Today I woke up really happy. The morning sun shines on my face and a cool breeze helps me wake up.

And why?
Because I’ve discovered that I live in the most beautiful island in the world, and I can only give thanks for the good fortune I have. And I’m sure that all you reading this, residents and tourists alike, are nodding and agreeing with me.
We are grateful and we say it out loud!
Grateful for the climate we have, for the beautiful light that illuminates us both winter and summer and for the endless days of sunshine.

In some countries, not far from here, people “hibernate” at home in winter, whereas here in Ibiza we celebrate life 365 days a year, enjoying over 300 days of sunshine and temperatures that rarely fall below 10 degrees.
Grateful for the spectacular nature around us. 210 km of coastline, 40 rocks and islets alternating along the coast, beautiful white sand beaches, countless coves of turquoise waters and unique places where you can say: this is a paradise!
Grateful for its contrasts. Because besides party and beaches, Ibiza is culture, it is tradition and history. Every village and town is unique for its history and the civilizations that one time lived there, but in Ibiza we are fortunate to have a unique heritage.

Our ancestors left us amazing traditions and architecture with churches, towers, ramparts and monuments that today are World Heritage. They are our roots, that have allowed us to become what we are today and what we shall be many years from now.
Grateful for tourism. Because every traveller visiting us means employment and jobs for those who live here all year round and for those who come to work during the season. And because we have 6 crazy months dedicated almost exclusively to visitors but the rest of the year we have a paradise all for ourselves, with amazing beaches where you can spend a day alone from October until May.

Grateful and proud to show tourists all our beautiful places and the beautiful people who live here throughout the year, being an island characterized by the warm welcome and friendliness of its inhabitants.
And I am particularly grateful to be able to share my home with you. A stunning farmhouse at the north of Ibiza surrounded by red earth and fruit trees in which to discover the real Ibiza.
For all this I feel very happy today and I wanted to share this happiness with all of you. So you take a few minutes to reflect on how lucky you are and so we can go walking with a smile on our faces, not a frown.
Happy day, happy life!
