January 15th , 2015, Vinya d’en Palerm rural hotel
Dear Diary,
Happy 2015! We are nearly on to February, but they have been crazy weeks, parties here, parties there, friends, family, feasts, decorations, gifts, enjoy, enjoy and enjoy again so much that … I haven’t had time to write here in my journal, nor talk about my beloved Ibiza.
This year I have high expectations, I think it will be a year to remember and many hopes and dreams lay in front of me and I’m sure, in front of the Palerm family as well, and of the tourists, old and new, who will come to enjoy Vinya d’en Palerm on their holidays.
First, my house is becoming more and more beautiful, the space both inside and out more and more welcoming and when customers come this summer they will never want to leave, because they will feel better than at their own home.
New upgrades are being made and new nooks prepared to make the Ibiza 2015 season just perfect, and when things are made with love nothing can ever go wrong.
Second, it seems this year is going to be full of surprises, new plans and new places to discover in Ibiza, new things to learn and, of course, new Ibizan dishes to taste.
Third, I’m learning, hand in hand with the Palerm family, all the traditions of the island, so I know this year I will feel I belong a little more here.
And now, I have to say goodbye because I must take the Christmas decorations down, and start another season, in this case, for me one of the most beautiful in the countryside of Ibiza … the almond trees in full bloom are nearly here, look out towards the end of the month!
