Those who have never been to Ibiza tend to imagine that the island is a place exclusively dedicated to partying and electronic music. But those of us lucky enough to have been born or lived here for some time really know the secret that this wonderful place keeps.
During the summer Ibiza is filled with tourists, yachts and lovers of the big clubs, but throughout the year Ibiza is a piece of paradise in the middle of the Mediterranean where time passes much more slowly than in the rest of the peninsula .
A paradise for its spectacular nature and the stunning colours that every season gives us.
Ibiza is a constant rainbow. Not only for its flora and fauna but also for the interesting and varied characters who live on the island and visit us every season: tinker, tailor, soldier, sailor, rich man, poor man,…
Media and tabloids focus on the unsightly part: the scandals, the celebrities, the English jumping from balconies, … but I often think that if the real Ibiza was seen, the little piece of paradise that only a privileged few really know then many more people would come and the magic would be lost.
So if you are one of those who know the magical, inspiring, beautiful, strong Ibiza that had you fall in love at first sight… Hush … don’t tell anyone our secret.
