The first time these lands became part of the Palerm family was in 1898 when my father´s great-grandfather, Mr. Mariano Palerm i Roig, brought the estate at the time known as Ca'n Bet. Since then it has passed on from parents to children up to today in which the dream of the whole family has come true.

The dream is not other than to turn the family house into a calm and beautiful place of rest for those who search a bit of peace in these days of intense and busy activity. The house supports its traditional structure with its porch of Ibicencan sabine girders and broad walls of stone that help to keep a fresh environment. The former stores for the grain and corrals have been turned into five pleasant rooms that welcome the guests and immerse them in a rustic but comfortable and cosy space. The main charms of the rooms are simplicity, their light, which enters to streams through windows and balconies, and their small garden of aromatic plants, which impregnate the place of soft and wonderful fragances. In the south wing, a swimming pool filled with water provided by the estate well and a solarium where to enjoy the sun, surrounded by fig trees and carob-trees for those who wish a bit of shade in the strong hours of the day. Plants of irrigation like tomatoes, lettuces, peppers, green beans and in summer the delicious watermelons and melons, that in Ibiza as they say have a special flavour, are cultivated in the estate. Fruit-bearing trees: orange trees, peartrees, apricot-trees, lemon trees, cherry-trees, apple trees, etc. Also there are crops grown in dry land wich are used to feed the farm animals: porks, rabbits, sheeps and hens. It is necessary to emphasize also the 10.000 square meters of autochthonous forest inside the estate where visitors will be able to enjoy the whole range of greens of our pines, sabine trees, rosemary, juniper, steppe and in winter they will be able to look for the Ibicencan mushrooms known as “pabrassos”. Opposite to the house, an extensive vineyard wich has been neatly taken cared for and spoilt for years, produces an excellent wine, which they must not stop trying.
